But until you came, out of nowhere I find that it isn't so. I thought I had found contentment And in a measure also peace. But from the moment, I looked into your eyes My soul has sought release. I have tried so hard to forget you And to replace my love with hate. But maybe it was meant from the beginning Written on the tablet of FATE. As time passes into eternity And eons shall be but a day. Until then shall I have forgotten you And the thrill to have passed away. When the flowers cease blooming in springtime And the dewdrops kissing the rose. When the sun fails to shine in the dawning Then you will know that my heart has grown coh When the waters recede from the ocean And the stars forget to shine. When the rainbow gives forth its pot of GOLD. Until then shall I call you mine. When the sands of the desert grow icy cold And the raindrops from Heaven to fall. Think some time while you are dreaming Of someone who's given their all. For you came to me out of NOWHERE So into NOWHERE MUST YOU RETURN. But you left behind you a memory Of a kiss that stings and burns. Estelle Harmon Baldwin 1308 N. Court St. McHenry, 111. LIGHTHOUSE OF LOVE In my heart there is a lighthouse, It's love, a beacon true and bright. It beckons to my one and only love, And brings him safely home each night. Not once in all these years, Has this love beam flickered slight. For it shines just to my true love, And brings him safely home each night. By Maureen M.J.
