After two years of training in the basic teachings of the Christian faith and Bible history, the members of the class publicly professed their faith as a class. At an ap propriate time within the service each member of the class came forward to the altar to receive the confirmation blessing from Pastor Roger Schneider. Members of the class will be honored at a dinner in the near future, planned by the Luther League or youth group at the church. The class members included Kent Putnam. JURY TRIAL In a jury trial held Friday before Associate Circuit Judge William Gleason, the fury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff, Christine Duarte Weeks, McHenry, and against the defendant, Jeanne Harkins of 1723 N. Woodlawn Park, McHenry, assessing damages in the amount of $1.00. The suit of Sept. 21, 1970, was filed by the plaintiff asking judgment of $10,000. Mrs. Weeks charged that Mrs. Harkins was guilty of negligence in an automobile accident which occurred Dec. 7, 1969, at 708 S. Barreville road, McHenry. The complaint claimed thatMrsWeeks suffered severe and permanent injuries as a result of the accident. SUSPENDED LICENSE " Michael Croke of 1411 Comes' trail, McHenry, was arrested for driving while license was suspended Sunday afternoon after deputies on routine patrol observed the Croke vehicle making an improper turn at the intersection of Johnsburg road and Riverside drive, north of McHenry.
