IN CLOSING With this being the last column before Memorial holiday weekend, if you are planning a trip, have a good time and come home safely. Be sure to allow enough time to compensate for heavy traffic.. Report Favorable For Good Fishing In 1973 Season Last report on the fish in McCullom was very favorable. The fish are doing well, growing to a size you fishermen will certainly enjoy catching. It looks as though the 1973 fishing season will be great. If you recall the lake was stocked with a variety of fish, big, medium, the fighting kind and the not so fighting kind. There is still to be no fishing until 1973 to give the fish ample time to grow. I am sure everyone will cooperate, everything worthwhile is worth waiting for. VILLAGE NEWS Congratulations to lovely Sue Vycital on being named queen of the McHenry high school prom. COMPLAINTS AND THINGS Spring is here, you wake in the morning feeling pretty good. For the last few weeks you have been very busy working in the yard putting flowers in and making a vegetable garden, hard work HOW TO COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR PHONE SERVICE. CALL ME. You may think it's silly of me to invite your complaints, but that's what I'm here for. I'm a Service Representative for Illinois Bell. And taking care of your phone problems is part of my job. To speed things up, I keep a complete file of your phone service records within easy reach of my desk. But there's still no way for me to know you're having a problem, unless you call. Just in case yours is a really tough problem, there are a lot of good people behind me to help out. Like my supervisor and the business office manager who've had years of experience in helping customers with unusual service problems. And, of course, all the people who install and repair phones. We're all pitching in to help. The way we figure it, the telephone company is only as good as the service we give you. And that includes taking care of complaints. If you ever have a complaint about your telephone bill, an installation problem, or a service question . . . call me, your Service Representative. For repairs, call our Repair Service. You'll find our numbers in the front of your telephone directory. We want to help. Illinois Bell WE'RE A LOT MORE THAN JUST TALK. but rewarding. After breakfast it is time i to take a walk/ outdoors to see how things are progressing, then wham it hits you, some thoughtless person has let their dog roam during the night. Some of the lovely flower plants have been destroyed along with the tomato plants and pepper plants. The ones not destroyed are fertilized with the wrong kind of fertilizer, the type that will destroy a growing plant ina short time. To the owners of dogs that are allowed to roam at night, do you have a con science? The poor animal does not understand, do you? There have been many complaints concerning the picking of tulips by children not to be carried home but just left where they were plucked off. Either way, please tell the youngsters not to destroy other peoples property. It is easy to understand that the children are fascinated by the beautiful flowers so it is up to us adults to say to them just look but don't touch. Tom Morris was the fourth to take part with the Viscounts in the Polish Constitution Day parade. Sorry his name was left out. BIRTHDAYS A very happy birthday to Mrs. Larraine Boyle on May 27th.
