Whispering Oaks To Form Garden Club Whispering Oaks gardeners met at the Community center Tuesday, May 16, to organize a Garden club. The enthusiastic group had a lively discussion to make plans for the future. It was suggested the group take tours of in- terestting gardens, learn about conservation of this area, study flower arrangement, landscape design and the "Why, What and How" of their own gardens. Most members of the club want to learn about gardening as many are amateurs, one has studied flower show school and one member is a landscape design critic. A nominating committee was appointed to present a slate of officers at the next meeting June 20. The committee has as its chairman, Mrs. Harry Tice. Mrs. William Hanner served as temporary chairman. Everyone praises integrity, but many hesitate to practice it. LINDA KELCH The engagement of her daughter, Linda Kelch, to Joseph Lund- borg, has been announced by Mrs. Thelford Kelch of 801 E.
