MARRIED - Nativity Lutheran church, Wonder Lake, was the scene of a lovely double ring ceremony Saturday, May 27, when Charlene Ann Adams became the bride of Robert James Fitzl, Jr. They repeated their nuptial vows before Rev. Roger H. Alsen at the 2 o'clock afternoon services. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter A. Adams of 5701 South street, Richmond, and the bridegroom is the son of Robert J. Fitzl, Sr., of 990} Main street, Hebron. Following a honeymoon trip, the newly weds will reside in McHenry. The bride is employed in Richmond and the bridegroom in McHenry. (Myrna) Talley was brought before the altar and presented with a going- away gift. She will be leaving us for awhile and with luck may be back with us again. Mrs. Ray (Millicent) Ladouceur, Mrs. Robert (Florence) McCormick, Mrs. Louis (Bonnie) Heinz, and Mrs. Helmuth (Marion) Vornkahl were also brought to the altar to receive their Academy of Friendship membership cards. Congratulations, girls. . Woodstock chapter invites our chapter to their College of Regents night June 11 at their Moose home. Hie night of June 20 is our regular meeting night and it is also our birthday night. The meat and cake is donated by our birthday bank and everyone is asked to bring a dish to pass. Installation for the new of­ ficers of the Women of the Moose will be held June 24 at 7 p.m. It is also the twentieth anniversary of McHenry Lodge <$91. Everyone is invited. Refreshments will be served and there will be a band for dancing. College of Regents night has been changed to the tenth of July at 8:15 p.m. Mr. John (Ila) Hogan will be leaving shortly for Florida to receive her Star Recorder award at the international convention June 27. While there she will also tour Moosehaven. Mrs. Carl (Carol) Sima will receive her cap and gown at the field house at Mooseheart June 10. Congratulations, Ila and Carol. Dora racher was not present to accept the attendance award. Florence McCormick -won the special award. Randy Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Miller, a graduate of the local high school Friday night, was honored at a gathering at the Miller home Sunday with folks present from Elkhorn, Wis., Crystal Lake, Ringwood, Johnsburg and McHenry. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Thompson attended graduation exercises at McCormick Place in Chicago, Friday, to see their daughter Mrs. Susie Thompson Coker, receive her diploma as an occupational therapist. Mrs. Elizabeth Michels and Mrs. Clara Michels were in W auk eg an Sunday where they attended eighth grade graduation exercises at Im­ maculate Conception church. The former's great- granddaughter was a member of the class. Mrs. Irene Adams has returned from a two weeks vacation in which she ac­ companied her daughter, Joni Adams, and a friend, Miss Gerry Restivo of Chicago, on a 3,500 mile trip of which the highlights were visits to New York City, Montreal, Quebec and Niagara Falls, Canada. The J.C. Seymour family of Dowagiac, Mich., spent the weekend with Mrs. Seymour's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Freund, and on Saturday ac­ companied them to Wauconda to attend the wedding of the latter's granddaughter, Miss Donna Freund, to Carl Hasdel which took place - at Tran- isfiguration .church >vvith a reception following at Shady Hill, Barrington. Monday in Judge Charles Parker's court, Michael Peccerearo of 444 St. James Place, Chicago, pleaded guilty to escape from McHenry county jail on Jan. 4, 1972, and guilty to burglary of the Bald Knob Resort, 605 W. Bald Knob point, McHenry, in December, 1971. Judge Parker placed Peccerearo on four year's probation with the first year to be served in Vandalia prison. COMPLAINTS Detective Dennis Lantis charges that on May 31, William C. Zimmerman of Woody trail, Wonder Lake, committed the offense of theft over $150 in that he obtained unauthorized control over scrap material and used bat­ teries having a value exceeding $150, property of Crystal Lake Disposal. Bond set at $5,000. Hearing date June 12. Walter A. Conrad, chief of police at Lakemoor, charges that on June 2, Colleen Draper of 168 Walnut, Mylith Park, Island Lake, committed the offense of burglary in that she entered the apartment of Lenora L. Phillips, Lakemoor, with intent to commit a theft therein. Bond set at $10,000, later reduced to $2,500. Court date June 15. Deputy Sheriff James E. Fitzgerald charges that on Saturday, June 3, James J. Muse of 1705 River Terrace drive, McHenry, committed the offenses of reckless conduct and unlawful use of weapons. Bond set at $1,500, hearing date July 10. Deputy Sheriff John R. Hansen charges that on June 2, Walter M. Garrelts, 7519 Center drive, Wonder Lake, com­ mitted the offense of driving while license suspended or revoked. Bond set at $1,000, court date June 19. John A. Raber, R.S., charges that on April 28, John Gillespie of 5612 Wonder Woods drive, Wonder Lake, committed the offense of creating and maintaining a nuisance in that he did allow the effluent of his septic tank to discharge to the surface of the ground. Deputy Sheriff Dennis E. Podgorski charges that on May 29, John P. Barnes of 813 W. Althoff drive, McHenry, committed the offense of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor.
