For fear of omitting someone's name we will not try to list all the graduates but to each and everyone of you. we all want to extend our very best wishes for much happiness and success in your future plans GRADUATION FESTIVITIES Following commencement exercises at McCracken Field last Friday, friends and relatives gathered at the William Cristy home to celebrate the happy occasion with their daughter. Terri. a member of the graduating class It was a triple celebration last Sunday evening at the Art Christophers Patty graduated from McHenry high on June 2, Diane from McHenry County College, June 4. arid David from Harrison school, June 8 Among the guests present were Mr and Mrs Howard Linstad and Gary of Appleton A busy time on the hill over the weekend After the graduation on Friday night found friends and relatives and neighbors at the Low resident to honor Ray on his graduation from high school Sunday afternoon found relative^; friends and neigh­ bors at the Robert Betts home in honor of David Betts who graduated on Friday evening from McHenry high school. His mom, Martha, did a beautiful job on serving a lovely buffet supper to all. The fellows spent most of the time around the pool table Who really won. Preston0 ?'9 SQUARE DANCING CAMPERS There are several members of the Checkerboard Squares who belong to a camping group called the Dancing Wheels. They had their first camp-out near Garden Prairie, 111., this past weekend. Walt and Doris Low are members from here. When these camp-outs are so close other square dancers are encouraged to come and dance with them on Saturday evening. TTiere are also dancers from other clubs belonging to this group and it's lots of fun to combine two such fine ac­ tivities STUDENT RECOGNITION SUNDAY Sunday, June 11, will be recognition Sunday for all graduates in the Ringwood parish. There will be a coffee hour following church services so everyone can meet and greet these young people. FAREWELL COFFEE FOR MRS. VIOLET LINDGREN Following church services last Sunday, members of the congregation gathered for a coffee hour to bid farewell to Mrs. Violet Lindgren. a faithful member of the church who is moving to Ar , June 15. Mrs Lindgren is making her home with her son and family, the Warren Lindgrens, and we wish them all much happiness as they relocate in the area of Heber Springs, Ark ABOUTTOWN Mr. and Mrs. Arden Grosdidier of Azusa, Calif., spent last weekend with her mother, Mrs. Nellie Hepburn. Other Sunday visitors were Mr and Mrs. John Blackmon of Antioch. Webster Blackmon of Richmond and Mr. and Mrs John Case of Lake Geneva. Sunday visitors in the Clyde home were Mrs. Neva Mann and son and Linda Wiser of Holiday Hills Monday visitors were Mrs Jerry Wagner and daughters from Round Lake Daughter Gen Wiser of Volo stopped in and her mom, Nettie Wright, rode with her to Wonder Lake and McHenry shopping. Last week, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Madden of Rockford drove Mrs. Hepburn to Kenosha to visit with Mrs. Madeline Mellon and Miss Mary Swensen. Frank Kempfer enjoyed a visit from his grandson, Albert Kempfer, and a college friend from DeKalb last week Thursday. Gladys Ainger of Hebron dropped by to visit with her mother, Ruby Shepard. Fred Schroeder of Crystal Lake was a Sunday evening visitor in the Shepard home. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Simon of Chicago visited with Ruby Shepard Tuesday and took her out for dinner. Randy and Ro Josserand were recent visitors with their daughter and son-in-law, the Art Gums of Tallula, 111. While there, they helped their granddaughter, Angie, celebrate her third birthday. Little brother, Randy, was an active participant in the festivities also. Judy Rich's mom, Mrs. Miller of Wilmette, and her aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Mattison of Florida spent Sunday with Judy, Den and the kids. Donna, Eddie and Marcey, left O'Hare Field Monday evening, June 5, to join husband and father, Ed Erwin, who is stationed in Germany. We wish them well in their journey. The wedding was held in Kenosha.
