What is wrong with people who dump a helpless animal to fend for itself? Not only is it cruel to the animal, but it could become a danger to the little children. It does not take much brain power to know there are places where an animal can be taken, and without hardly any trouble at all. The animal will then be taken care of humanely, and of course will pose no danger to anyone. But the persons who do this could care less, about the animal or the little ones, the ones who could get hurt or infected. There have been a number of complaints concerning dogs barking well into the wee hours of the morning. Okay dog owners take care that your dog does not disturb others, please. Mikus. The invocation was given by the Rev. Richard N. Wright, pastor of the Wonder Lake ^Bible church. Following the national anthem, the pledge of allegiance was led "by class member, Robin Rowley. Students gave the following talks: Mike Bazan, speaking of the "Past"; Diane Eschner, speaking of the "Present"; and Chuck Williams, speaking of the "Future". The class of '72 then sang its song, "The Im­ possible Dream".
