The pretty bride chose a floor length, A-line silhouette gown of silk organza appliqued with lace daisies, fashioned with long sleeves and a chapel length, attached train. Her bouffant illusion veil fell from a lace petaled crown outlined with pearls. She etflTed a cascading bridal bouquet of yellow roses, white daisies and baby's breath. STAFF PHOTO Cheryl Zelvis Is Married To Joliet Man A lovely summer wedding was solemnized Saturday, July 1, when Cheryl Patricia Zelvis and Raymond Walter Bolek met at the altar of St. Mary's Catholic church to exchange nuptial vows. They repeated their vows before the Rev. Joseph Jtulpk at the 11:30 a.m. double iting ceremony. Cheryl is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Zelvis of 721 S. McHenry avenue, McHenry, and Ray is the son of Mrs. Mary Bolek of 1116 Hacker avenue, Joliet, and the late Walter Bolek. The church was decorated with altar bouquets of white gladioli and pink major daisies. Given in marriage by her father, the pretty bride chose a floor length, white imported voile and cluny lace gown fashioned with an empire bodice, softly gathered skirt, bishop sleeves, and a chapel length vatteau train enhanced with cluny lace. Her bouffant veil trimmed with matching lace was attached to a Juliet cap. She carried a colonial bouquet jof white roses, white daisies and baby's breath. The groom's flower was taken from , the center of the bridal- ""bouquet. Anita Zelvis of McHenry attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Marilyn Socha of Dolton, a former college roommate of the bride, and Helen Morowski of McHenry, a close friend. The attendants wore modern, floor length pink voile gowns featuring dainty Swiss em­ broidery on the bodice and pockets, and softly gathered silhouette skirts and baby doll sleeves with self ruffles. Each carried a white fireside basket filled with assorted colored summer flowers. Thomas Bolek served his brother as best man. Richard Naiden and James Goss of Joliet were ^groomsmen. Ushers were Leon Zelvis of McHenry, the bride's brother and James Puthoff of Joliet. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Moose Lodge hall Tor 100 guests. In June, 1972, he received a M.A. in Business Administration from Northern Illinois university. Malenius of DesPlaines, was baptized by the Rev. Fr. E.C. Baumhofer in St. Mary's Catholic church. Godfather for Bryan was his uncle, Jesse Freund, and his godmother was his aunt, Mrs. Jerome Freund, both of McHenry. Following the baptism, a buffet reception was held in the home of Bryan's maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Freund of McHenry. Besides his parents, grand­ parents, sponsors and their families, guests included the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Malenius and daughter, George Mack, Mr. and Mrs. George J. Freund, Wonder Lak^ the groom's niece. The attendants wore floor length, A-line gowns of lime green featuring short puffed Sleeves trimmed in daisy ap­ plique. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Parker chose a flooor length, blue and silver dress with silver accessories. The groom's mother wore a sleeveless street length dress in lavender. New Theatre In Woods tock Park Members of the Woodstock Actor's Studio are busy with preparations for the upcoming production of ^Walden: A Ceremony to be presented in the Woodstock City park July 27 , 28 and 29. "Walden" is a refreshingly different type of theatre presentation developed by James Hurt, author and associate professor of dramatic literature at the University of Illinois, Champaign. The ceremony re-enacts the ex­ periences of Henry David Thoreau while at Walden pond in Concord, Mass., in 1845.
