PAGE6-PLAINDEALER-WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBERS, 1972 County Manufacturers Legal Notice In Membership Drive The McHenry County Manufacturers association plans to combine its 1973 membership drive kickoff with the regular meeting this Thursday evening, Nov. 9. Arne Moritzen, president from Crystal Lake, said the many membership benefits provide members with significant ^services and programs in addition to one of the most valuable of all assets; the Shared Emergency Disaster plan for members. The meeting Thursday night Woodstock, starting at 6 p.m. Letters are going to a cross section of prospective new members early next week, Moritzen, Crane Packing plant siqierintendent, , said, and members will follow up on those letters with personal invitations to attend the get- acquainted session. Organization membership includes all the large McHenry county manufacturers, and an estimate of the number of employees for the three dozen members is 10,000. "These three dozen members provide McHenry county with a payroll of over $1 million a week," asserted Moritzen. "This gives an indication of the impact manufacturing has on our total economy - from providing jobs for employees to providing them with paychecks so they can purchase homes, recreation, television sets and varied consumer and food products." M c H e n r y C o u n t y Manufacturers association members participate in a study each year centering on wage conditions, plant operations, fringe benefits and marketing outlook. Copies are supplied members. The association has monthly speakers on timely topics, ranging from wage-price controls to plant security and plant lighting. Labor is the topic this month. Membership includes representative of manufac turers from every part of McHenry county, with the McHenry County Manufac turers association serving as a Chamber of Commerce-like function for its members. Some men think women's hats are funny, while others pay for them. Concerning affairs of the heart? You're over playing the cat and mouse game. Shake the habit of giving love - in bits and pieces. o This week might move along, rustily. Don't let -n the usual routine activities fool you. Persons in j authority are working in your behalf, behind the . This week, it isn't what a member of the oppo- ^ site sex has done . . . it's what they are about to do, that should concern you! , .<5 Here's a firm warning for those under your sign, so inclined. You might trade off love for a superfluous frolic. So, stay in bounds! An event that you believe is scheduled to hap pen to someone else, particularly a person you do not like . . . will, indeed, happen to you. Listen closely! The truth is something an asso ciate simply cannot accept. Your choice? Either "fib" by omission or hurt their feelings. Plots, plans, schemes and designs are now un der way. For many members of your sign, there will be a light, late at night, high in the garret. You are letting your imagination work against a personality of the other sex. So? You are not a target for underlying motives. Once again, you'll hear an old worn out promise ..that has a ring of truth and, once again, you'll deny reality. \ i .9 1 •t 'i *1 'I, ?.
