Bay road, McHenry, recently completed an eight-week cooking course at the U.S. Army Training center, Armor, Ft. Kox, Ky. The course trains personnel to prepare and serve a wide variety of food in large or small quantities. Students are trained in baking, the principles of meat cutting, field kitchen operations and service of an Army mess hall. Pvt. Spengel entered the Army in March of this year ad received basic training at Ft. Dix, N.J. A 1968 graduate of Marian Central Catholic high school, Woodstock, Pvt. It will be offered at Wood­ stock high school (Room 105) Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The class will begin Nov. 21. The class will include discussion in detail of facets and problems of handling people and projects in small businesses, departments of larger companies, and educational institutions.
