It has been decided that mL I THINK ABOUT IT! By BOBJUSTEN Thanksgiving Day is basically a religious holiday to voice gratitude to God for His beneficence When we think about it, it can and should be a day for dou ble duty....R can and should be an opportune time to express thanks to friends and families for kind nesses received from them throughout the year. Benjamin Franklin wrote about such kindnesses in these words: "I have received much kindness from men to whom I shall never have any opportunity of making the least direct return. And numberless mer cies from God, Who is infinitely above being bene fited by our services. These kindnesses from men I can therefore only return on their fellowman and I can only show my gratitude for those mercies from God by a readiness to help His children and my bre thren." We think Franklin's thought is appropriate for all of us to adopt and adapt to our use on this and every Thanksgiving Don't you?. GEORGE R. J US TEN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3519 W. Elm St., McHenry, HI.
