Covalt, Jr., former owner of McHenry Lumber Co., one of the city's oldest businesses, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, in McHenry hospital. He was 58 years old. Mr. Covalt, a resident of 5413 N. Thelen drive, assumed responsibility for the business following the death of his father, Floyd E. Covalt, Sr. In rdcent years he was con­ struction supervisor for Flodstrom Construction Co., Deerfield. He was born in Crystal Lake Jan. 29, 1914, son of Floyd and Carrie Himler Covalt. Sur­ vivors are his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Camille) Hutchison, of Charlotte, N.C., a son, Trey, of McHenry; four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Norm (Shirley) Blomgren of Harligen, Texas. Services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 from the Peter M. Justen and Son funeral home, with burial in the Woodland cemetery. LORA W. MARTIN Lora W. Martin of Rt. 1, Bristol, Wis., formerly of Ringwood, died Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 29, in Kenosha Memorial hospital, Kenosha, Wis. Mrs. Martin was born in Ringwood Dec. 29, 1889, daughter of Eliza Allen and Thos. Walkington. She was married to Martin Klintworth, who died in 1931, and to George Martin, who passed away in 1960. Survivors are two sons, Lester Klintworth of Wonder Lake and Thomas Martin of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Ruth) Rawson of Bristol, Wis.; seven grandchildren and four great­ grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ralph and Earl. The body will rest at the Schneider-Leucht-Mcyrwin- Cooney funeral home in Woodstock, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday evening.
