Painting and repair work to the - community center was brought up and it was decided that money designated from the New Year's Eve party would be used for inside repairs on the kitchen and bar. All painting work will be done in spring on the exterior of the building and the interior of the building will have the words "PISTAKEE HIGHLANDS COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION" written in the front of the building. The meeting was adjourned by President Fantus at 8:30 pjn. WOMEN'S CLUB The ladies of Pistakee Highlands will hold their an­ nual mystery luncheon on Jan. 31. Ladies of other Women's Clubs will be invited for the event which will be at our community center at 12 noon. VEHICLE STICKERS Just a reminder that stickers are on sale from all officers and trustees of the association. Boat dock and beach area privileges depend on these stickers. Lists were given to all officers with instructions not to issue stickers to any un paid residents. GIRLSCOUTS The Girl Scouts are planning a rededication and initiation at their Jan. 29 meeting. Also the girls are looking forward to their annual cookie sale. They will be going door-to-door beginning Feb. 23 through March 3 taking orders. Their troop leaders have informed me that the tentative delivery date will be from April 2 to the 14. A fund drive will be held in March and the girls ask that everyone remember , to save special food coupons for the achievement group. ROAD IMPROVEMENT Some news on Bill 1440 or the Road Improvement program which High­ land residents partic­ ipated in by petitioning to have roads paved has come through. James Rakow, superintendant of McHenry County Highways, reported that out of 30 subdivisions that petitioned, 13 turned in com­ pleted forms.
