Many patients are thus victims of complexes and phobias whose origin they have consciously forgotten. So they figuratively keep running around while pursued by an inner, subconscious "ogre." But she was playing the game of hide-and-seek with a misunderstanding! When driving, you may be distracted by someone or something for a critical second or two.
