Route 120 and Guet- tler's service station, 818 N. Front street, McHenry, with the intent to commit thefts therein. Bond set at $10,000. Bound over to the Grand jury. Deputy Sheriff Doyle Endres II charges that on March 14, Thomas L. Roberts of 4411 H i c k o r y w a y , M c H e n r y , committed the offense of criminal damage to property (under $150) in that he knowingly damaged property of the county of McHenry by gouging marks in a door jamb located in the county jail.£ Bond set at $1,000, placed on Master jury trial call. Deputy Sheriff Douglas Prosen charges that on March 11, Robert Barhyte of 1006 Ravine, McHenry, committed the offense of armed violence in that he did threaten and did shoot a 30-06 rifle at Deputy Prosen, who is a peace officer who was engaged in the execution of his official duties. Bond set at $10,000. Bound over to the Grand jury. Deputy Sheriff Douglas Prosen charges that on March 11, Robert Barhyte of 1006 Ravine, McHenry, committed the offenses of *aggravated; assault and unlawful use of weapons. India Study Group In U.S. Exchange Program Six of the men shown above are part of an India Group Study Exchange program. They visited the McHenry Rotary club meeting last Thursday and remained to tour farms and industries in the area. In front are Benny Fernandez, team leader, and Anil Kapur. In back, from left, are Bharat Desai, Anil Verma, James Longhway of McHenry, Rotarian who hosted the men; Tushar Kabi and Anand Singh. The program is an educational activity of the Rotary Foundation and provides awards for an exchange of groups Of young business and professional men between paired districts in dif­ ferent countries for one to two months study periods. In alternate years, a district sends a group of six young men to its paired district and receives a similar group from that same district. The program is aimed at providing to outstanding young business and professional men opportunities for studying another country, its people and institutions through participation in an organized program of study and discussion in that country. McCaulley, 1716 Oakleaf, McHenry, committed the offense of theft in that he obtained unauthorized control over a 85,000 BTU space heater, property of the company. Bond set at $1,000. Sgt. Gregory P. Burg, Jr., charges that on March 21, Michael J. Troka of 3213 S. Waterview, McHenry, com­ mitted the offense of possession of cannabis. Bond set at $1,000, court date April 2. Sgt. Gregory P.
