PAGE 3-PLAINDEALER-FRIDAY, APRIL 6, 197c Miss Idstein Pretty Bride St. John the Baptist Catholic church, Johnsburg, was the setting for a beautiful wedding Saturday, March 31, when Miss Mary Elizabeth (Marybeth) Idstein exchanged nuptial vows with Mr. John Ray Ed- mundson. The Rev. Father Leo Bartel officiated at the ceremony performed at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Miss Idstein is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerard F. Idstein of 1003 W. Florence, McHenry. Her husband is the son of Mrs. Alma C. Ed- mundson of Clarksdale, Miss. The church was decorated with two baskets of gladioli and white and yellow daisies. Organist John Heidinger ac companied Edelle Baranoski, cousin of the biride, who was soloist. Pretty, dark-haired Miss Idstein selected a white, em pire gown in nylon organza with lace trim on the empire in front. The dress featured a high neckline and full, sheer sleeves trimmed in lace. Her train was trimmed with lace highlighted with pearls. A short veil which fell from a Camelot cap also was trimmed in lace and pearls. She wore a gold filigree lavaliere with three diamonds which her mother and grand mother had worn on their wedding day. Her bouquet was of white roses and daisies in colonial style. Kathleen Boarini, the bride's cousin, acted as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Joy Het- termann of Johnsburg, a close friend, and Elizabeth Degan of Davenport, Iowa, college roommate.
