Myers, public r&ations directors, has announced. The Children's home provides a place for about fifty children to live - children who through no fault of thfeir own have no home. Most are victims of broken homes or of situations where parents are not able to take care of their children. The Children's home needs more than $65,000 above the amounts received in fees' to finance its child care program. Increasing financial needs are putting pressures on the staff to provide the kind of quality care needed to assist the children, Clifford Redding, executive director, said. Members of the Woodstock Children's home auxiliary, assisted by representatives of churches, schools and the Home's staff, will take part in the "Pencil Day" solicitation. All who contribute will be given a souvenir pencil. The Woodstock Children's home is in its eighty-seventh year.
