You need not spend a jot of money on tents, trailers and equipment to go family camping. There are openings at week and weekend family camps scheduled for June, July and August at two 4-H camps in Northern Illinois. These camps offer programs in swimming, boating, archery, crafts • and nature, similar to the regular 4- H camp. Both camps have cabins and also electrical hook-ups for a limited number of camping trailers. In addition to these facilities, the meals are served in a dining hall, family style. This relieves most of the chores of cooking and dishwashing, so that the entire family can enjoy activities right up to meal time. The camps are White Eagle 4-H camp near Forreston, 111., and Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See near Kankakee.
