West Shore Beach CONNIE SCHMIDT 0 385-784) Property Owners Rummage-Bake Sale, June 23 The West Shore Beach Property Owners' Association with the help of the Women's Auxiliary will hold its annual rummage-bake sale at 5412 W. Orchardway Drive from 10 a.m. until? Any ladies from the subdivision are asked to please contribute bakery goods to be delivered or picked up on Friday June 22. If pick-up service is desired contact Mrs. Helen Mohlman at 385-8798 or Mrs. Dolores Jaburek at 385- 5061. We need the support of the community to contribute any clothes, furniture, dishes, etc., in order to make this a good money making project. ASSOCIATION MEETING The West Shore Beach Property Owners Association met at the beach on June 9 to discuss subdivision problems, A bid for the road repair work was given and money will be allotted for patching and grading the roads. Those who attended included: Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mohlman, Mr. and Mrs. Curt Erickson, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schmidt, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Knaack, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Kidd, Mrs. Giddings, Mrs. Radlein, Mrs. Jaburek, Mrs. Dignan and Joe Finiello. Brought up were unpaid association dues. There are twenty-three permanent residents from this subdivision who have not yet paid their $20. In addition it was stated that the lettering for the sign was completed by Mrs. Doris Moore and will be put up on Or­ chardway entrance. Lastly, the rummage-bake sale date was set for June 23 in conjunction with the ladies club. Please try to help out on Saturday by contributing any rummage- bake goods or your time. We need you. WEDDING LUNCHEON Mr. and Mrs.- Henry Aissen "celebrated their recent marriage at the McHenry Country Cluti with thirty-five invited guests. Katherine's son, Peter Marich, and his wife Marge flew in from Clear­ water, Fla., for the happy occasion. Another son, Milan, and his wife, Sharon, traveled from Hoffman Estates. In addition Henry's son and two daughters attended the lovely affair. Many friends some of whom included: Martha Dignan, Joe Finiello, Dorothy Wendt, Ann Garrelts, Mr. and Mrs. James Kenton wished the couple well. Also some of Henry's fellow workers enjoyed Remodeling? It was nice everyone could attend the wedding celebration as the bride and groom cer­ tainly appreciated the host of fine people. HI NEIGHBORS Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mohlman, Jr., to West Shore beach. Pat and Bill who were recently wed spent their honeymoon in California ex­ ploring San Francisco and many coastal cities. Upon returning they took up residence on the top of Alton road and are waiting for their home near the beach to be completed. We're tllad vou came! Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Ken Wahl to our subdivision who also were recently wed. They are making their new home at the bottom of Highland Drive. Jan and Ken have two ad­ ditional occupants - their beautiful cats! Everyone wishes to say a friendly hello. SUMMER TRIP The Dan Russell family traveled to Monroe Center to visit Aunt Helen Luby and saw Great-Grandma and Grandpa, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Norton. They then drove to Mammoth Caves National Park, Ken­ tucky, to camp and enjoy the hot weather. Childreii Dam.y. Larry. Gary and Jamie especially liked the boat trip on the Green River and the touring of the caves. The family cer­ tainly had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed some relaxation. RECYCLING REMINDER On June 30 the glass and tin can drive will take place at the McHenry Market Place. Bring any newspapers or goods to 5407 Highland Drive before that Saturday. We need volunteers and the use of a pick-up truck. Please call me if you can help us at all. PERSONALS Darin Jaburek celebrated a happy birthday on June 6. She enjoyed the day with Great Grandma Geanopulous; Aunt Sharon and Uncle Bruce; Aunt Jeannie and cousins. Shannon, John, Mike. Shawn. Kelley and John; friends Dominic and Deanna; brother. Jimmy, and of course mom and dad, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Moore. Also little Jamie Russell became a big four with his birthday on June 14. The flags were flying! Today June 20 Mr. and Mrs. Fred L.
