MUSIN" N' MEANDERIN" (Continued from page 1) nowhere recently have we seen . it more clearly than in one short segment of television film. It was our pleasure, as it always is, to sit with this year's McHenry County Dairy Princess and members of the press at the annual luncheon last Friday honoring the newly selected title-holder. This year's event was of particular satisfaction since the girl is McHenry's own Lynn Tomlinson. It was probably only natural that in between plugs for milk and other dairy products by the girls, members of the Fourth Estate managed to do a bit of reminiscing and came up with a few of their own promotional stories. It continues to be a source of amazement that newspaper people everywhere have the same joys and the same problems---with much the same kind of people. We like one mini-story about the day the reporter sat in her office receiving a particularly harsh calling down, not for something that was reported incorrectly but which happened to displease a reader. At the height of the up braiding, a minister walked into the office. When the tirade was over, he approached the writer and said, "Don't let it bother you, you can't please everybody. Jesus didn't". KAF EXTEND FLOOD RELIEF AID TO END OF JULY (Continued from Daere 1) covered by a variety of earlier deadlines, the earliest having been June 30. "Flood victims in all of the fortv-nine counties now have until Tuesday, July 31, to seek relief through the programs of the Small Business ad ministration," Dwyer said. "We would encourage these many unfortunate individuals to do so as soon as possible in any of the many facilities being maintained by SBA throughout Illinois."
