Isn't it interesting the way carts have taken the place of caddies on the golf course? Let's face it, the carts have three big advan tages: they don't cost; they don't criticize; and they don't count. BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES Happy birthday greetings to Joan Laskowski and Clar Young on Oct. 6 for a very happy day; to Kimmie White on Oct. 12 for a very happy day. Anniversary wishes to Kathy and Bob White on their special day Oct. 6 TIME FOR YOU Warn Children Of Behaviour On School Bus It's beyond me as to why a warning has to be made every year to the children at llie bus stops before they behave themselves. The children responsible for the teasing and fighting have been asked every year to behave themselves. I believe you children are old enough to act in a responsible manner while awaiting the arrival of the buses. I also hear that much of this over- enthusiasm is displayed on the bus. I'm sure your parents would not allow you to wrestle in their car, the same holds true for you as a passenger on the school bus. Please don't fight at the bus stops, or on the buses! It takes considerable effort to repair damaged clothing and the expense of replacing garments is very high these days. Children should be allowed freedom, but not to destroy others property. Parents, please inform your children as toproper behavior before, during, and after school. A lot of folks will appreciate it! Thursdays meet at Dee Wegener's home on Sunset Drive for bulletin boards and other crafts. All craft workshops will be held during school hours, 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. approximately. Hope to see a good turn-out so the crafts may be finished as soon as possible. MICHIGAN TRIP Mr. and Mrs. Harvey R. Beth of Holiday Drive returned last Saturday from a 3 day trip visiting relatives and friends in South Haven and Allegan, Mich. Prior to that their son flew in from California and spent eight days visiting with them.
