Also, from Wonder Lake: Second Annual Workshop Hold For Pro-Schoolers The Crystal Lake Nursery Schools: Friendship House, Methodist Nursery, Little School and Thunderbird hasted their second annual pre-school workshop for teachers of young children in and around McHenry County recently. Joining the Crystal Lake Nursery Schools were: Cary Country Pre-School; Kids Unlimited and The New School both of Woodstorck; Huntley Nursery School; Cooper Kiddie College in McHenry; and Peppermint Stick Nursery School in Grayslake. Twelve primary teachers from District 47 also participated. This year's half-day workshop was directed by a creative and dynamic team of teachers from Harvard. This team: Judy Brien, Bonnie Cornue and Kathy Robson have developed their own ungraded, individualized program and are in demand now for workshops because of the innovative and creative materials they have made for their children to usp Sixty teachers worked en­ thusiastically with this team on language and math activities and created their own learning materials and teaching aids to take back to their respective schools.
