A survey by an insurance company reveals that over half of all single family homeowners don't carry enough insurance to protect their property fully. Inflation is a common cause of inadequate coverage. A house ful ly insured ten years ago may now be insured for only half its value -- unless the amount of insurance has been increased. The value of your home also may have increased if you've made home improvements. When you add a room, remodel or even panel an existing room, it's wise to increase your insurance policy. Then too, replacement costs have increased with changes in supply and rising labor prices. In any case, it's recommended that insurance coverage equal the market value of your home minus the value of the lot and and the foundation. A good rule of thumb is to have coverage for no less than 80 percent of the replace ment cost. Many insurance com panies offer homeowner's policies with a built-in inflation guard pro- vision that increases coverage at regular intervals. Beef Exports Exports of beef for 1972 totaled 52 million pounds, up 10 million pounds from 1971. Keep Two!
