File Request For Provable Wheat Yields Wheat producers desiring to have their 1974 farm program wheat yield based on actual production rather than on the basis of ASC committee judgment must file a request with the local ASCS office at 1143 North Seminary avenue, Woodstock, by Nov. 3, Getty, chairman of the McHenry County ASC committee has announced. Farm program yields will be used in the event a wheat payment is made COMPLAINTS Chief John Monteleone, village of Lakemoor, charges that on Oct. 14, Tom Stevens of 401 W. Riverside drive, Lakemoor, committed the offense of parking of any vehicle or storage which is not used or ready for use is hereby declared a nuisance (two vehicles). Chief Willard Bychowski of under the 1974 program. Provisions of the Agriculture and Consumer Protection Act of 1973 require that farm proven wheat yields for 1974 be based on production data for the 1967-1972 base period. Generally, to prove a yield, the farm must have had an allot ment and harvested an acreage of wheat in each of those years. Reliable proof of production and disposition must be fur nished the ASCS office for county committee' con sideration. Mr. Getty pointed out this provision applies only to wheat, as the law does not authorize ASCS to set farm feed grain yields on proof of production. Interested wheat producers must contact their local ASCS office by the Nov. 3 date to receive consideration, Getty further stated. The new legislation requires that producers who plan to prove their yields for 1975 and future programs must furnish evidence of production for 1973 and each year thereafter in the year of production. Therefore, 1973 production evidence must be furnished now by interested producers. 3718 WEST ELM STREET McHENRY, ILL. Meat & Produce Prices Effective THURS., FRI., SAT.
