' PACK 10 - PLAINMUI.KR.FI Richmond ( Rescue Squad In Fund Drive RiiMY, NOVEMBER 16, 1973 is conducting a lund drive to obtain money to purchase supplies for vehicle main tenance, repairs and vehicle replacement. Expenses for 1972-73 totaled The Richmond Rescue Squad $1,931.47. In the past year, the squad answered 79 calls and made 108 ambulance trips. Due to the time involved for the volunteer members, emergency trips are made only to the hospitals at McHenry, Woodstock and Harvard, and BuHington and Elkhorn, Wis. The rescue squad recently voted to purchase a new equipment truck at an ap proximate cost of $7,000, with expected delivery in about one Technology is abroad in the land. The campaign will continue through Nov. 21. Major General Harold R. Patton, the adjutant general of Illinois, says the purpose of the 12-day campaign is to raise the strength of the Illinois National Guard back over 100-percent of that authorized. General Patton urged prior service men and women to contact their nearest National Guard armory for information about National Guard benefits.
