The trip, scheduled on January 20- 23,1974, is open to students and non-students. The chartered bus will depart from Crystal Lake at 11 a.m. on Jan. 20, and return to the campus at approximately 11 p.m. on the 23rd. "Schuss Mountain is a multi- million dollar 1500-acre ski complex built totally around the motif of an old-world alpine kingdom with its own customs, currency (called the 'squiggy'), and even its own time zone: C.F.T. (Central Fun Time)," said Paula Harrison, president of the MCC Ski Club. "The Schuss Mountain resort had its own snowmaking and grooming equipment, ski and snowmobile rental, sleigh rides, swimming ice- skating, cafeterias and card and game room," she added. The ticket includes: round trip transportation by char tered bus, three nights ac commodations, three lift tickets, three breakfasts and three dinners. For information, contact Andrew DeCraene, ski club advisor, at the college. M.C.C. Cagers Drop Pair Over Weekend Bob Franz Named Coach Of The Year In Central States ill Gary Gilpin Paul Miller Mike Dalton Chuck Martina Winners of varsity letters for the 1973 football season at Marian Central are these five linemen from McHenry who will be returning for the 1974 season. Gary Gilpin, Mike Dalton, Dan Lennon, Paul Miller and Chuck Martina. Martina was also named as the team's most improved lineman. Dan Lennon McHenry County College basketball fortunes suffered two setbacks this past weekend as they lost back to back contests to Wright College of Chicago 95 to 43 and to DuPage of Wheaton 86 to 65. Wright which has the number one ranked junior most of last season looked like they have lost none of their power as they blew the young Scots right off the floor in the early stages of the game. By half time, Wright had established a 54 to 20 cushion and for all practical purposes the contest was decided. The M.C.C. crew looked respectable if not impressive at times against DuPage. Down by 11 at the half, 41 to 30, the Scots battled back on the shooting of Groskinsky and Gould and the rebounding of Toren. By the 10 minute mark M.C.C. had climbed to within 5 points, 63 to 58, but at this time their fortunes suffered a severe setback as Gould and Toren fouled out within ten seconds and were followed to the bench by Frost. DuPage took advantage of the situation and finished the contest pulling away to a comfortable win. This week M.C.C. travels to Aurora to battle Waubonsee on Thursday and heads for Malta to take on Kishwaukee Saturday night.
