Cherry Valley road, Wood­ stock, found guilty of theft over $10 in a jury trial, fined $6,500. Judge Charles Parker Oscar Suarez, 4107 N. Sheridan, Chicago, found guilty of theft over $150 in a jury trial, sentenced to the state penitentiary for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years, credit to be given for time served in McHenry county jail where he as been since July 22, 1973. COMPLAINTS Deputy Sheriff Edgar Fair charges that on Feb. 19, Bruce W. Brogan of 311 Willow road, McHenry, committed the of­ fense of obstructing a peace officer in that he did obstruct said officer in the performance of his duties when he attempted to arrest Thomas Franks. Officer Robert Winters charges that on March 3, Ferdinand W. Redmond of 3308 Miss Miller Wed Saturday St. Patrick Catholic church was the setting for a nuptial rite Saturday, March 2, uniting in marriage Miss Mary Lou Miller and Mr. Alan Grotewold. Miss Miller is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Miller of 3510 W. Broad street, McHenry, and Mr. Grotewold, who resides at Ames, Iowa, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Grotewold of Larchwood, Iowa. , Father Victor Ramaeker of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, uncle of the bride, officiated at the3 o'clock ceremony. Soloists Were Terry Huck and Don Reinboldt, who also played guitar. Selections were "The Lord's Prayer", "Ave Maria", .""Wedding Song", "Day by Day" and "One Hand, One •Heart". The church was decorated I with baskets of pom poms and carnations in blue, violet and yellow. Serving as lector and -commentator was Dan . Kasperski of Chicago, brother- in-law of the bridegroom. Miss Miller was radiant in a princess style gown of satin, "fully lined in acetate, with slightly raised waistline, notched, standup collar and Bsihop sleeves with pointed cuffs of lace. A delicate floral motif outlined in cord trimmed the front of the gown. A "V" at the back of the waist ended in a border hem. Her cathedral length mantilla veil was em­ bellished with lace. Miss Miller wore a gold, heart-shaped locket, a gift of the groom. SHe carried a cascade bouquet of roses, carnations and baby's breath in shades of blue, rust and yellow. Hie maid of honor was Miss Judy Schaefer of Crystal Lake. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Roger Carpenter of Oak Lawn and Miss Tina Miller of McHenry, cousins and Miss Dianne Buelt .of Ames, Iowa, a roommate. The flower girl was Kristen Tuntland of Rochester, Minn., Iniece of the groom. ; Miss Schaefer was attired in ;a long dress of royal blue and ithe bridesmaids were in rust 'colored dresses, all in the same style. They featured empire waistlines, scoop necklines and long cuffed sleeves, lace trimmed. The flower girl was attired in a royal blue, short dress. David Holcomb of Swea City, a fraternity brother, served the bridegroom as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Boyes of Garnavillo, Iowa, Bruce Wold, Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Mike Miller of McHenry, brother of the bride. Gary Schaefer of Ann Arbor, Mich., a friend, and Larry Cristy of Jacksonville, 111., were ushers. Michael Freund, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Miller selected a long, aqua chiffon dress with silver accessories. She wore a cor­ sage of carnations and yellow roses. Mrs. Grotewold chose a long, poudre blue dress with silver accessories and similar corsage. A rehearsal dinner was served at the Long Horn, Lilymoor, given by the bridegroom's parents, with thirty-four in attendance. The reception following the service was attended by 140 persons in St. Patrick's church hall. The couple left on a trip into Wisconsin. They will make their home at 163 G University Village, Ames, Iowa. The former Miss Miller, a Marian high school graduate, attended Iillinois State university for two years and graduated from Iowa State university in Interior Design in July of 1973. She is presently employed in Boone, Iowa. Her husband graduated from West Lyon school in 1970 and is a senior at Iowa State university, majoring in Marketing. He is serving as president of Delta Chi fraternity in Ames. Guests attended the wedding from Iowa, South Dakota and Chicago. The former Miss Miller was honored at three bridal showers, pne of them was held in McHenry at the home of an uncle, Roman Miller, given by her attendants and mother of the ring bearer, and attended by thirty-seven guests. Another was hosted by friends and aunts of the bridegroom, held at Larchwood, Iowa, the third, in Ames, Iowa, was given by wives of the bride's co-workers. Officer John Langdon charges that on March 2, James E. Caley of 5513 Somerville, Wonder Lake, committed the offense of disorderly conduct in that he did resist complainant's at­ tempt to quiet a disturbance at 4720 W. Route 120 by becoming loud and boisterous. Bond set at $25, court date March 20. Sgt. Daniel Kinnerk charges that on Feb. 18, William L. Stueve of 320 Sydenham, Spring Grove, committed the offense of burglary in that he did enter Bayshore Realty building at 3440 W. Elm, McHenry, with the intent to commit a theft therein. Bond set at $5,000, court date March 11. Sgt. Gregory Bliznick charges that on Feb. 15, Cyn­ thia E. Mikeska of 5204 W. Shore drive, McHenry, com­ mitted the offense of con­ tributing to the delinquency of a minor child in that she did knowingly cause several juveniles to smoke marijuana at her residence while said residence was intrusted to her supervisory control by her mother. Bond set at $1,000, court date March 4. Officer James Crawford charges that on March 6, John H. Sherman of 2802 Michael street, Wonder Lake, com­ mitted the offense of disorderly conduct in that he did hide under a semi-trailer and upon the approach of officers, began yelling and waving his arms and provoked a breach of the peace. Bond set at $25, court date April 3. Officer Robert Winters charges that on March 4, Robert W. Mueller of 4500 Parkway.. McHenry, com­ mitted offense of con­ tributing to the delinquency of minors in that he did knowingly cause two juveniles to be in his vehicle who were truant from school. Bond set at $1,000 for two offenses, court date March 25. / . Officer Robert Winters charges that on March 4, Robert W. Mueller of 4500 Parkway, McHenry, com­ mitted the offense of theft under $150 in that he did obtain unauthorized control over gasoline which he had syphoned from the tank of Marie Diedrich. Woodlawn Park avenue, McHenry, died March 6 at her home. She was 55 years old, born Sept. 25, 1918, in Chicago. Mrs. Stephan had been a resident of McHenry for 6 years having moved from Wheaton. Among her survivors are her husband, Lawrence P.; three sons, Lawrence, New Orleans, La., Richard, Chicago, and Dennis at home; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Patricia) Parker,^ Glendale Heights, Mrs. Robert (Adrienne) Vanek, Crystal Lake, and Margaret at home; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas Sanderson, Blue Island, and Donald Sanderson, San Marcus, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Raymond ( C a t h e r i n e ) S w e e n e y , Hayward, Calif. Visitation is scheduled after 2 p.m. Thursday at Peter M. Justen and Son funeral home.
