Evaluation of Solid Waste Management Alternatives for McHenry County", a highly technical document reporting on the work done during the first phase of a two-phase feasibility study on the solid waste disposal problem in McHenry county, « Hie committee urges the public to visit the office of the County Planning commission in the courthouse in order to review the entire document. The technical nature of this report requires that it be analyzed in its total context. A deposit will be requested if copies are to be purchased or taken from the office. Hiis report contains results of many separate component studies which were combined to. evaluate the total solid waste problem. Specifically, the following areas were addressed in the report: waste generation from residential, commercial, industrial and miscellaneous sources and projections for the next twenty years. Existing sanitary landfills, their service areas and projected life were documented. Hie ever present problem of sewage sludge and septic tank sludge was ad­ dressed. Bauer Engineering, which prepared the report, presented six siting alternatives. These were combinations Of general sites in the northwest, central and southeast portions of the county or single locations. White, 22, of 7720 Deep Spring road, Wonder Lake, died Sunday, March 24, in his home. He was born Aug. SI, 1951, in Canvas, W. Va. She was born Dec. 4, 1907, in Hoboken, N. J., the daughter of the late William and Alice Brow Nelson. Hie deceased was a retired secretary for an investment company. She is survived by a brother, Kenneth, The Bronx, N.Y. A sister, Mrs. Margaret B. Connor, preceded her in death. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Peter M.
