Mae Wiedrich was the unfortunate lady with the lowest score of the day. Everybody had lots of visiting for the day tho'. "500" Saturday evening, April 6, saw Walt and Doris Low traveling to Bristol, Wis.,- to play "500". Usually Paul and Althea go to this same card club but they have both been feeling on the poorly side for a week sooo they didn't go this time. Those unable to attend were Clarence and Marion Harrison of Ringwood, Greenwood. Bob and Blanche Howe of Richmond, Allen and Gladys Ainger of Hebron and Mike and Florence Kane of Mequon, Wis. ABOUTTOWN We were happy to receive a call from Mrs. Mabel Hawley saying she was back home after spending some time with her daughter and family, the John Dt Woodwards, of Largo, Fla. Mrs. Hawley said the weather was beautiful all the time she was there, with temperatures in the 70's. Let's hope she brought some of that weather back with her so we can start thinking about planting those vegetable seeds (to help the grocery bill) and flowers. Lunch and afternoon visitors with Phyllis Zell on Monday were her sister Shirley Green of Lake Villa, Barbara Riipi and daughter, Diane, and daughter- in-law, Diane, of Zion and Sandy Nielson and two children of Chemung.
