Air Force Base Chapel Setting For Wedding A wedding of interest was solemnized at Tinker Air Force Base chapel, Okla., Saturday, June 8, when Clarice Estelle Burris became the bride of Christopher David Long. Chaplain Sigurd Nelson i officiated at the 7:30 1 candlelight service in a church decorated with French bouquets of mixed flowers, and pew candles. The bride is the daughter of Brigadier General and Mrs. Rupert H. B,urris of Tinker Air Force base, Okla., and the groom, formerly of McHenry, is the son of Col. and Mrs. James E. Long of Richards Gebaur Air Force base, Mo. The pretty dark-haired bride wore a silk sheer organza and chantilly lace gown styled with a Victorian neckline and sleeves and a bell skirt which flowed into a chapel length train trimmed with ruffles of lace. Her Camelot headpiece of lace and seed pearls held a pure silk English illusion fingertip veil. She carried a French bouquet of minuet roses, baby's breath and stephanotis. Mrs. John Shank of Phoenix, Ariz., attended the bride as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Richard Jensen of Austin, Tex., Mrs, Joel Peele of Chesapeake, Va., and Miss Vickie Sparks of Del City, Okla. The attendants were attired in floor length gowns of chiffon featuring high necklines, long sheer sleeves with wide cuffs and high waisUines accented with tiny white pearl buttons from neck to waist. The matron of honor wore wedgewood blue chiffon and the bridesmaids wore light blue chiffon gowns. James E. Long, Jr., of Del City, Okla., served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Mike Earls of Del City, Joe Dehn of McHenry and Kendrick Whittenton of Stillwater, Okla. Dean Long of Del City and John Shank of Phoenix served as ushers. The bride's mother wore a formal length gown of pale green chiffon. The groom's mother chose a floor length gown of yellow. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Tinker Air Force Base Officer's club for 139 guests. Upon their return from a wedding trip to New Orleans, the couple will make their home in Oklahoma City, Okla. The bride graduated from Mitchell high school, Colorado Springs, Colo. She attended Oscar Rose Junior college, where she earned an associate degree. The groom attended McHenry high school before moving to Del City, Okla. He has completed three years at Oklahoma State university. The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Roswell Grant of Skokie. Baby Goscinski Is Christened In St. Johns Church Tim Frank Goscinski was christened June 9 at a noon Mass in St. John's Catholic church, Johnsburg. His godparents were Miss Rosemary Maziarka of North Lake and Alan Maxstadt of Wonder Lake. A party followed the christening, held on the lawn of the Goscinski residence. Twenty friends and relatives were invited. Special guests included Mr. and Mrs. Maziarka of Fox Lake, the maternal grandparents, Mrs. Rose Goscinski, paternal godmother, Mrs. R. Winder, great-grandmother, Mabel and Lody Weaver, all of Brookfield. The parents are Deborah and Stanley Goscinski of McHenry. Rev. Ralph Smith conducted the 2 o'clock afternoon ceremony. The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick B. Yungnickel. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Knights of Columbus hall for ninety friends and relatives. The couple spent their honeymoon at the Dells in Wisconsin. Deaths FRANCES NUGENT Mrs. Frances (Goldie) Nugents, 83, 1416 Wauconda road, McHenry, died June 12 at Highland Nursing home, Genoa City, Wis. She was born Oct. 8, 1890, in Germany. Her first husband, William F. Herlihy, died Sept. 15,1955. She married Albert E. Nugent, former McHenry police officer, who died March 4, 1962. She was also preceded in death by two brothers. Mrs. Nugent was a member of the Island Lake Women's club, St. Mary's Catholic church and a member of Senior Citizens clubs of Barrington, McHenry, Fox River Grove, Wauconda and Island Lake. Mrs. Nugent, a homemaker, is survived by two daughters, Mrs. George (Eileen) Haynes of Island Lake and Mrs. Don (June) Ackerman of Dallas, Tex.; five grandchildren; one grandchild and a brother, Frank Tuerk, of Pittsburgh, Pa. A wake was scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and again Friday at the Warner Flagg funeral home, Crystal Lake. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Joseph Kulak at St. Mary's Catholic church, McHenry. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, Skokie. ROBERT H. HNILO Robert H. Hnilo, 64, for 20 years a resident at 5509 E. Lake Shore drive, Wonder Lake, died June 11 in Tucson, Ariz., following an extended illness. The deceased retired after 30 years as foreman of the Hot Point-General Electric Co., Chicago, and moved with his wife, Olga to Tucson a year ago to reside near his father, Frank, a former resident of Wonder Lake. Besides his wife and father, he is survived by a daughter, Rosemary MacArthur. Syracuse, N.Y.; two sons, Robert of Melrose Park and Frank, North Riverside; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances, and a brother, Jerry, who died in World War I. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday and Friday nights at 8 p.m. at the H. Marik and Sons funeral home, 6507 W. Cermak road, Berwyn: Burial will be Saturday with arrangements incomplete at press time. THEOL B. WEBER Theol B. Weber, 65, of 52111th Street, Wilmette, died June 11 at St. Francis hospital, Evanston. She was born in St. Louis, Mo., Nov. 28, 1908. Among her survivors are her husband, Harold R.; a daughter, Mrs. Frederick (Barbara Lee) Wahl, McHenry; and her mother, Leona Bateman of Skokie. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the William H. Scott funeral home, 1100 Greenleaf avenue, Wilmette with the Rev. Karl H. Spiess of 2606 Homer, Chicago, committed the offense of disorderly conduct in that he used an extreme amount of profanity in a very boisterous manner in a residential area known as North Fox. Jones of 4614 Garden Quarter a p a r t m e n t s , M c H e n r y , committed the offense of disorderly conduct in that he did use profane and abusive language toward a juvenile. Church, McHenry, committed the offense of creating and maintaining a nuisance on the premises known as 2105 Johnsburg road in that he did allow effluent to come to the surface of the ground. Oaks Garden Club WiU Hear Rockford Speaker On June 18 at ll a.m., the Whispering Oaks Garden club will hold its annual meeting and luncheon at the Community center. HONOR HOSPITAL BOARD MEMBER - Harry Eckland Ions time member of the McHenry hospital board of directors accented an Award of Honor from the McHenry hospital board of directors last week at a dinner honoring him and Dr. Peter Griesbach. Mr Eckland and Dr. Griesbach were cited for "distinguished and meritorious service" to McHenry hospital.
