White Horse Fascinating To Local Traveler his (by Hugh Kirk, following recent trip to England) On the road between Bath, England, and ancient Stonehenge we were told that if we were very observant we might see the White Horse on the side of a distant hill on our left. Between the trees and in very short glimpses we did see something resembling a figure of a white horse. This continued for about two miles and we seemed to get closer as we traveled further and the view became very clear and distinct. It was a perfect white horse carved on the hillside.
