Vogel, 74. 7819 Barnard Mill road. Richmond, died Oct. 27 at Memorial hospital , Woodstock. Mr. Vogel was born March 6, 1900. in Richmond, the son of J . Henry and Sylvia Rehorst Vogel. On Oct. 14, 1922, he married Vera Bumsted in Woodstock The deceased was a dairy farmer until his retirement in 1962. He was a member of the Greenwood Community United Methodist church, a charter member of the Richmond Rotary, the Richmond Masonic- Lodge, 153. A F & A.M.. the Pure Milk Association, served on the Keystone grade school board for 21 years, was Rich mond township assessor from 1947-1965. and served on the McHenry County Board of Supervisors from 1965 to 1972 Besides his wife, Vera, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Mary Lou) Jensen. Woodstock, and Nancy Vogel. RockfOrd; two sons, Evan. Richmond, and Gerald, Ringwood; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. WD (Edith > Phill ips, Richmond, and Evelyn Vogel, Crystal Lake; three brothers. Mr. Smith was born July 29. 1950. in Elmhurst, son of James and Lucille (Leon) Smith. He was a drywall contractor for Austin Drywall, Crystal Lake. .
