Bolger, president of McHenry State bank in McHenry, has been reelected to* a three-year term as Illinois director of the Independent Bankers Association of America, an association of more than 7,200 independent, community banks in forty-one states. Bolger, whose term begins Jan. 1, 1975, will represent IBAA member banks in his state on the association's executive council. The IBAA was founded in 1930 to help preserve the type of bank that is owned and operated by the people of the community it serves. The association believes the public is best served when there are many competitive banking choices in the marketplace, as opposed to a system in which banking resources are concentrated in a few giant banking organizations operating over a wide geographic area.
