Deja of 1511 Freund avenue, McHenry, was ticketed by city police for traveling too fast for conditions after he hit a car driven by Elsie M. Smith of 4309 W. Crystal Lake road, McHenry. The accident oc curred last Friday afternoon on Route 120, just west of Borden street. According to police, Deja was east-bound on the inside lane of the highway when he saw a car suddenly stop in front of him to make a left turn onto Borden. He applied his brakes but slid on the wet pavement, lost control of his auto and hit the Smith car, which was west bound on 120. A citation for failure to yield right-of-way was issued to Michael J. Tonyan of 1406 Palomino drive, McHenry, following an accident Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Elm street and Richmond road. Carl J. Frankiewicz of 1311 E. Leonard, Ingleside, told city police he was east-bound on Elm in the right lane when Tonyan's car pulled past a line of cars into his path. He applied his brakes but slid into Tonyan's auto. Tonyan said he was waiting to make a left turn into a ser vice station when an ap proaching vehicle stopped and the driver waved him through. As he made his turn he was hit by Frankiewicz's auto. A two-car collision at the intersection of Route 31 and Johnsburg road, north of McHenry, Tuesday afternoon resulted in a ticket being issued to Bernard J. Jung of 3620 W. Grand avenue, McHenry. He was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way at a stop or yield intersection. According to deputies, Jung stopped at the sign on John sburg road and saw three cars approaching in a north-bound direction. He thought all three cars were going to turn east onto Johnsburg road so he proceeded onto the highway. In doing so, he was hit by a car driven by Matthias Adrian of 5716 N. Sylvan, Wonder Lake. Adrian said the Jung car pulled out in front of him and he was unable to avoid making impact. RESTAURANT 4213 W.
