She has been very happy and active in our community for 30 years and joined the Wednesday afternoon club in 1959 to enjoy other company and entertainment. REMINDER TO FISHERMEN The McCullom Lake Con servation Club will hold an exciting fish derby on Feb. 22 and 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. West Shore fisher men as well as any interested female or male ice fishers can enter the contest. Tackle and fishing licenses may be pur chased at the derby sight and plenty of refreshments will also be available to participants. SYMPATHY Our residents wish to express sincere condolences to Robert and Henry Koch whose mother, Myrtle Koch, passed away on Jan. 28. Mrs. Koch was 74 years old and rested at the George Justen funeral home. PERSONALS Our new neighbors Frank and Virginia Latour from Chicago have done con^< siderable remodeling at thier home on 2219 Beachside. House siding and paneling in the living room and kitchen have added decorative charm to their new home. They both like our community and hope to get to know more people in the community. A happy homecoming to Pat Mohlman's mom, Marilyn Schatz of Chicago, who was in the hospital recently. Five year old David was a lucky boy to visit with his big sister while mom was away. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hart- mann celebrated their wedding anniversary on Feb. 3 with a lovely time together. Good times in the future! A week of tree trimming around the utility wires has greatly improved service conditions and residents ex press their appreciation. Cotton, Grains Council To Meet Locally Feb. 12-13 The National Advisory committees on cotton and grains-wheat, feed grains and soybeans, will meet in Wood stock Feb. 12 and 13, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced. The two committees will conduct a joint session at 9 a.m. Feb. 12 in the Jefferson auditorium in the department's south building and then follow separate agendas. Production and consumption of U.S. cotton and its marketing domestically and for export will be discussed by the cotton advisory committee while the committee on grains will discuss the current domestic and foreign supply-demand situation and the 1975 supply outlook. All meetings are public. Any person may file a written statement with the committees preceding the meetings or within one week after their conclusion. Statements may be filed with Terrance G.
