Rades of 4704 Wonder Lake drive, Wonder Lake, for speeding, disobeying a stop sign and for driving while license was revoked. Bond was set at $1,025 and he is to appear in court April 7. While working a traffic assignment in Wonder Lake, deputies observed two autos approaching at a high rate of speed bumper to bumper. Their speed was recorded at 96 mph in a 45 mph zone. The vehicles were pursued to, Route 120 where the cars turned east, disregarding the stop sign at the intersection. Deputies were successful in stopping one of the vehicles which was driven by Rades. Ramon Rivera of 7801 W. wRoute 120* Woodstock, was charged with driving while intoxicated last Saturday morning about 1:55 after he was seen by city police traveling through McHenry at speeds in excess of 90 mph. They stopped the driver about a mile and a half east of the city. Rivera was transferred to county jail in lieu of bond. Court date was set for March 12. While on routine patrol last Thursday night about 6:30, deputies observed an auto blocking east-bound traffic on Route 120 with the front end of the vehicle in the ditch near the McHenry VFW. Driver of the auto, Ronald Glosson of 3007 Emily lane, McHenry, was found slumped over the steering wheel with the engine Of the vehicle running. When deputies aroused him and requested he shut off the engine, he put the car in gear and attempted to flee but the auto became stuck in the mud. The driver became abusive and assistance was summoned to restrain him. After being taken to county jail, he per­ sisted. in being uncooperative and striking at officers. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting a peace officer, disorderly conduct and aggravated battery. Court date was set for March 20. He is a director of the West McHenry State Bank and vice-president of the Oliver Hotel corporation and Oliver hotel of South Bend. Jones, who owns and has conducted the tavern for the past year has another place at Woodstock which takes up most of his time so he placed Mr. Miller as manager oh Green street. She suffered a skull fracture and was un­ conscious for several hours and is still in serious condition. Warren Jones will appear March 21 as tenor soloist with the Chicago Mendelssohn club at Skokie high school. The club is a male chorus which was founded in 1894. The Enemy To Be Shown Sunday At City Church The Enemy, a frightening film about demon possessions, will be shown at the Alliance Bible church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, 3813 W. John street, McHenry, Sunday, March 2, at 5:30, 7 and 8:30 p.m. The Enemy, meticulously produced to convey on screen what actually happened in real life, tells the story of Tim and Betsy, a young couple who served as sponsors for a youth group in an evangelical church. Then they met Bob and Jack; two demon-possessed teen­ agers. Tim didn't believe it; and the church says many others may be skeptical too. The church also says anyone who sees The Enemy may have second thoughts. Like Tim, the church says everyone may face up to the fact Satan and cohorts are at work in today's world. Since this film is not recommended for children under 13, two other films, Whispering Mountain and The Clockmaker's Secret will be shown at the same time as The Enemy. Set in the beautiful Swiss Alps, Whispering Mountain is a story of Ole, a young boy who spent his summers up in the mountains with his uncle. One special summer he had an experience with Whispering Mountain that he would remember as long as he lived.
