Eastwood Manor Mary Ann Bellak 385-5705 Association Plans Easter Egg Hunt Mar. 29 There will be an Easter Egg hunt, for Eastwood Manor Residents, on March 29, 2 o'clock at Hilltop school. All residents are invited to attend. We are very excited about this event and know it will prove to be a big success. Our sincere appreciation to all volunteers for coloring Easter Eggs. Anyone wishing to bring eggs, please bring them to my house the Friday before the Easter Egg hunt, the more the better!! Here are our plans thus far: The hunt will be divided into three age groups. 1.) 1-4,2.) 5-7- 3.) 8-? They will be hunting for Easter Eggs in three different sections, and one age group will finish before the next one begins. At the end of all three age groups time allotted, prizes will be given to the first and second place winners who gather the most eggs from each group. (The time„ allowed as of yet has not been determined, but will be clearly stated at the Easter Egg hunt.) Please remember to have your children take along some type of container, whether a basket, a bag, or something similar that can be used to gather eggs. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place under every weather condition with only one ex ception and that being a serious rain storm which under those Virginia Karls, left, and Rosemary Schneider are shown ai the table where the "Meal in the Upper Room" was celebrated Tuesday evening at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church. The two ladies planned the event, which was sponsored by the Women's Fellowship group. McHenry Church Celebrates Meal In Upper Room The "Meal in The Upper Room" was celebrated at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church, 404 North Green street, McHenry, Tuesday evening. The event, sponsored by the Women's Fellowship group, was a commemorative meal similar to the meal that Jesus came together to celebrate with his disciples in the Upper room on Maundy Thursday. Those participating joined together in § brief inspirational service in the sanctuary, where all parts of the evening meal in the upper room were explained. In eating the meal, those par ticipating were binding themselves together in fellowship by sharing this common meal and were trying to recapture the spirit of the admonitions Jesus gave his disciples at meal in which he participated with them. The people taking part in the readings and musical portions of the service included Mary Jane Boelens, James Boyd, Joe Karls, Donna Haack, Ron Hughes, Jim Franklin, Grace Reinhardt, Virginia Karls, Lynn Parsons, Joan Lingeman, Stephanie Titel, Dr.. Jerry Lingeman, Gerry Hastings, Linda Parsons, Berneice Spruth, and Pastor Roger W. Schneider. The event was planned by Virginia Karls and Rosemary Schneider.
