The scores were 4 to 0 and 8 to 4. In the first game Dave Wickencamp went the route allowing 3 hits, as he hurled a shutout. He also aided his own cause getting 2 of the Warriors 4 hits in the game. He had fine support behind him as the Warriors played errorless ball. In the nightcap Tommy Ludwig given a 2 run lead in the first inning hung in there to poast an 8 to 4 win. Ray Williams senior shortstop had a triple, as the Warriors scored 4 runs in the top of the third in­ ning. List Best Pitchers, Hitters In Baseball By Pete Fritchie LAKELAND, FLA.-After twenty-two years on the field, number six, Al Kaline, is no longer belting them out for the Detroit Tigers. But he was at Lakeland the other day, in uniform, in­ structing young Tiger hit­ ters. How does it feel not to be getting ready to play, and travel? "Great," Kaline said. "I've got a number of jobs, one with Ford, others representing lines of prod- . ucts. I'm glad to stay in baseball to an extent. "Jim Campbell offered me a job. He gave me three choices, in fact. I could coach, start out in the or­ ganization, learning the business, or do this--help teach hitting for a brief pe­ riod in spring training. "I might some day go into the organization. I would want to have a future, some­ thing I think is challenging. But right now I'm glad to get away from the travel for at least a year and I like working with hitters."
