New: Members Join I Church New members were received into membership by letter of transfer from other Lutheran congregations at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran chifrch, 404 North Green street, McHenry, Sunday. All of the new families were invited to come forward to the altaRTail at a special time in the '"worship service to receive £i certificate of church membership from Pastor Roger Schneider. The new families were greeted by the church membership at the door of the church following the service. An evening reception was held in the Fireside room of the church Sunday evening to allow the new families to become better acquainted with some of the regular membership of the parish. The evening planned by Evangelism committee chairman, Dennis Polewaczyk, provided mixer games, coffee and cake, and fellowship for everyone. The new members received included Agnes Enstrom, Arthur Buikema, Nina Buikema, Pam Buikema, Audra Buikema, Kim Hagen, Mildred Sturm, David Nank, Sandra Nank, Laurie Nank, Michael Nank, Frank Bor zewski Jr., Peggy Borzewski and Frank Borzewski, III. Change Fiscal Year For Some Vehicle Licenses Recreational vehicles will be changed from a fiscal to a calendar year registration period on Jan. i, 1976. Secretary of State Michael J. Howlett said the amendment to the Illinois Vehicle code was approved last year by the 78th General Assembly. To implement the change. Secretary Howlett has an nounced that nearly 100,000 pre printed renewal applications have been mailed to owners of recreational vehicles lor the registration period July 1 through Dec. 31. A half-year registration fee is required lor the six-month fiscal period. In November, special pre print renewals will be mailed to recreational vehicle owners for 1976 calendar registrations. Secretary Howlett said all applications received from this mailing will be processed as reassignments. Howlett said the current reassignment period for recreational and other second division vehicles runs through April 30. Deadline for displaying 1975- 76 fiscal year plates is midnight June 30. The change in registration periods affects recreational camper shells, vehicles and trailers.
