SERVICES IMciAfoi'b *7<MC6< God must love-beauty, to use it so lavishly. The Master Artist dapples the soft green leaves with gpklen sunshine, turns the brook to flowing crystal, and put^a^ngj/fto Spring itself. There is beauty in us, too . . . because He put it there. In His sight, none of us are ugly, none of us are forsaken, none of us are "lost." But sometimes, in the busy process of day-to-day living, we turn blind eyes upon the world's loveliness, and take for granted the gifts which should brighten the. hours and years. We need a faith that gives us vision to find again the inner beauty He gave us in the beginning . . . a gift which He never takes away. Let us go, then, to His Church. Let us "enter into His gates with thanksgiving... for the Lord is good;v His mercy is everlasting; and His Truth endureth forever." The Bible History portion of the training period was presented through the Bethel Bible series program offered by the church. The period of training prepared the students for a meaningful church membership. During the Confirmation service, the confirmands walked forward to kneel in dividually at the altar to receive the Confirmation blessing and a Confirmation certificate from Pastor Roger Schneider. Following the service, the class members stood in a receiving line at the door of the church to be greeted by members of the congregation. The class members will now participate in the Senior Special class or discussion group held each Sunday morning for teen-agers. They will also join in all of the ac tivities of the Luther league, or youth group which meets every other Sunday evening for organized activities such as hayrides, roller skating, swimming, ballgames, etc. The members of the class included Steve Grantham, Patrick Teuber, Kristi Stannel, Theresa Quist, Cheryl McNish, Janet Roalsen, Julie Waller, Steve Kivley, Steve Lingeman Robert Hutt, Kim Weber, Ann Neumann, Diana Grantham Janet Pickell, Michael Neumann, Eric Staveteig, Kimberly Finkbeiner, Allison Boyer, Eric Trier, Kevin Kangas, Duane Cedergren, Robert White, Debbie Baldocchi and John Olsson.
