McCullah of Waukegan. They played ten numbers Sunday evening. A very pretty wedding was solemnized July 17 in the Loretta chapel of St. Mary's college, South Bend, Ind., when Miss Rosemary Nye of this city became the bride of Mr. Walter Carey, also of McHenry. Spring wheat other than durum seedings total 14.0 million adres, down 5 percent from last year but 9 percent above 1973. Acreage for harvest is indicated at 50.9 million acres for winter wheat, 4.5 for durum and 13.6 for other spring wheat. Food grain seeded acreage (wheat, rice and rye combined) at 80.4 million acres,is up 4 percent from 1974. Acreage harvested and to be harvested for grain is indicated at 72.6 million acres, up 5 percent from 1974. The program originates from the Mer­ chandise Mart in Chicago. W.C. "Peggy" Feltz, 72, died at the Woodstock hospital, Aug. 2. The John Justen family moved last week Saturday from the old Justen place north of the McCullom Lake blacktop road, now the property of Frank Howard, to the former George Tonyan home on John street which the Justens recently purchased. McHenry's Marine Day queen, Johnnie Simon, did herseif proud at the McHenry county fair in Woodstock. While she failed to bring home the coveted title of county queen her beauty and personality made her a runner up for the title. Donald Busch of Johnsburg and C.L.
