He told about the financial situation of the state and answered questions from the floor. Lawrence Krueger, president of the McHenry county chapter for the past sixteen years, presided. The invocation was given by Joe Rosulek, Woodstock, chaplain of McHenry county chapter. McHenrV county chapter is the first in the state to appoint a chaplain. Installation of officers was conducted by James McGuar, Springfield, state president of the IAAI. He was assisted by A1 VanTegen, Moline, president of the National Society of Public Accountants. Installed from McHenry county chapter were Sherman Schmitt, Woodstock, president; Lawrence Krueger, Crystal Lake, vice president; Dorothy Mathews, Harvard, secretary-treasurer. The president of NSPA ad­ dressed on the desirability of uniform licensing throughout the various states. Members of the IAAI from McHenry are Larry and Helen Booster, and Shirley Harms. He is a communications serviceman at the company's O'Hare location. Seventy New Workers Join Intermatic, Inc. Addition of more than seventy new workers and a second shift was announced this past week by Intermatic, Inc., manufacturer of automatic timers and small heaters. November sales reached the highest point in the 84-year history of the company, said Jim Miller, president. "A strong movement in consumer product sales, especially for the anti-burglary SuperCop timer, required us to add 11 per cent to our per­ manent work force of about 700," he said. • A>i* RONALD WIGGERMAN Ronald E. Wiggerman has been named vice-president of marine sales for Attwood corporation, Lowell, Mich., according to an announcement made by Donald Rocheleau, president of the company. A graduate of Illinois In­ stitute of Technology with a B.S. in mechanical engineering, Wiggerman joined Attwood in December, 1973, as engineering manager. He became director of marketing the following May. Attwood corporation is the world's largest producer of quality marine hardware for pleasure boats. A native of McHenry, Wiggerman was raised in McHenry and attended school here. dJiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii I 4-H NEWS MODERN MISSES 4-H CLUB Modern Misses held their 4-H meeting Nov. 25 at 7:05 p.m. at Parkland school. The meeting was called to order by President Colleen Godina. Guests were introduced. We have a new secretary, Susan Godina, but Vice- President Donna Godina gave the secretary's report that night. Then the treasurer's report was given. Modern Misses has decided not to sell seeds this year. But we are making cookies for Downey's veteran hospital. Each person makes one dozen. Modern Misses has switched the Dec. 23 meeting to Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. There will be a Christmas party after the meeting. We have formed a committee with the following, Denise Freund, Debie Freund, Karen Kelter, Susan Godina, Donna Godina, Colleen Godina.
