Mary Lou Heald and Linda Kurowski arranged the whole thing. Carl Traina was a beautiful Kris Kringle. When all was over, Mary Lou and Linda had the lovely idea to bring Santa and a little Christmas cheer to the McHenry hospital pediatrics ward which, of course, made all the little faces light up there. , SHORELINE WAVES The next meeting of the Shoreliners will be held on Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m. The address is 3109 Stillhill Drive. The children did beautifully in telling the Christmas story through choral readings of the Scriptures and • singing carols. Following the program, everyone gathered in the church parlor for coffee and cookies and a pleasant time of fellowship. LADIES "500" CARD CLUB The Ladies "500" card club met last Wednesday for its annual pot-luck Christmas party at the home of Helen Winn in Richmond. A delicious pot-luck dinner was enjoyed with the exchange of Christmas gifts. This was a party so no cards were played but a lot of visiting was done by everybody. A good time was had by all. VISITORS . Wilbur and Pearl Benoy of Elkhorn were dinner visitors at the Paul Walkington home last Sunday. They attended the Sunday school program in the afternoon with the Walkingtons. Tom and Maya Walkington of Carbondale arrived at the Paul Walkingtons on Saturday evening of last week. They will be spending the holdiays with Tom's parents. Linda Hosier is home for the holidays visiting her parents, Dorothy and Monte Hosier. Linda attends school in Springfield.
