Those at tending were Frank and Lil Visconti and little Frank, Jr. ' (bet his eyes danced and sparkled with the excitement of his first Christmas). Also Ken and Barb "Brennan were present with their, children, Wayne and Wendy. On New Year's day, the Ken Brennans and Russell Soddys took Mrs. Hepburn out for dinner. Doe and Charlie Brennan and Ralph and Beulah Kick spent the day at Stan Torstenson's at Genoa where they enjoyed a first-day-of-the- year party. Judy LaFrancis is the chair person for McHenry Shores and she needs volunteers to help her collect for this very worthy cause. Even if you can only give a few hours to be one of the marchers, please call Judy at 385-5067. And when the girls come to your door, please give generously. But also make sure that you either know the volunteer or ask for her identification card. ABOUT TOW$ Betty and Jerry Williams, and their three boys were here from Fort Worth, Texas, to spend the holidays with Betty's parents, the John Skidmores. They were here for a week and left on "Monday after Christmas, sq missed all that snow we got that Monday night. Diane Skidmore and girls were down for Christmas, from Mountain, Wis. They^ spent Christmas eve with Diane's parents, the ^Caley's, and Christmas day was with the Skidmores. New Year's day afternoon found Curly Skidmore and Dolly Malsch traveling to Wilmot, Wis., to spend the afternoon with Curly's mom and sister, Elsie Pacey. 'Twas cold out there. The New Year's holidays found Walt and Doris Low going north to snowmobile with the Freunds, Adams and Granaths. If you want more snow here, let's send them north again, cause that's what it did here after they left, and there was almost as much here as they found. Guess they didn't go far enough north, although Diane Skidmore said they hadn't really had much snow at Mountain. Wis., either. BIRTHDAYS' Boy. it must have been cold in January, lots of birthdays.
