Come See Us Soon her role of wife and moth er (she has three children) Madame Marescot Is the representative of a num ber of top FTehch fashion designers in the United States. 8he is also the | originator and moving - force behind Air France's semi-annual Fashion Flight from New York to Paris aboard which lead ing French designers pre view their new collections just prior to the Paris international ' Women's Ready-to-Wear Salon showings. ' French ingenuity "It's an incentive to get American buyers to Paris before they spend all their money on other European collections," Madame Ma rescot frankly admits. At home anywhere in the world, she has lived in France, Switzerland, Egypt, 8enegal, Japan and the United States. Her fa vorite advice to travelers is to learn to speak at least one foreign language. She herself speaks fluent French, English, Dutch and German and some Arabic and Japanese. • Because of their hectic traveling schedules, she and her husband rarely have moments of privacy together. This, however, does not appear to flaw what is apparently a very happy marriage. "It's comp to the point where f leave my husband more and more notes because there tennis player, world travel er and an expert on Jap anese flower arranging. > Proof of these accomplish ments lies in the fact that she logs an estimated 500 hours on planes every year, that she was French Jr. tennis champion and title holder in singles, doubles and mixed doubles in Egypt and French West Africa for three years and holds degrees from five Japanese flower arranging schools. ELEGANT, charming and vivacious, Liliane Marescot is the organizer of Air France's semi-annual Fash ion Flight which preview* the collections of France's top designers. is so little time to talk with him alone," she sighs. Bright lady She loves bright colors, which seems natural for there is nothing drab about the lady or her per sonality. TO describe her as "active" is somewhat of an understatement. On a desert island, one suspects that she'd be the first to organize and schedule ac tivities. Aside from the task of maintaining three resi dences (an apartment in New York, a house on Long Island and a villa in Cannes) she participates in French/American char ity work, is an Inveterate x Yive la difference! Madame Marescot be lieves the jgukjerdifference between the way French and American women dress is one of quantity. A Frenchwoman will buy more expensive, but fewer clothes, varying the look of a particular outfit with the use of different acces sories -- a scarf, a pin, a flower. Her beauty advice to women? Smile, be happy, enjoy life! She's a stun- ning example of her own advice. The sky's the limit .•**»<• £ij i •VO •£ • f \ FORMERLY NYE DRUGS YOUR PRESCRIPTION HEADQUARTERS ..., 1325 N. RIVERSIDE DR.
