Nixon of 301 Rosedale, McHenry, was cited for disobeying no passing zone following a collision Friday afternoon on Riverside drive just north of Scott avenue, north of McHenry. According to the report, Nixon was north bound on Riverside drive and proceeded to pass a slow moving vehicle in front of him. As he pulled into the south-bound lane, a south bound auto driven by Cheryl A. Carro of 909 Allen avenue, McHenry, crested a hill and the autos collided. * Ms. Carro was injured in the accident and was taken to McHenry hospital by the rescue squad. Kennneth A. Bloom of Route 5, Antioch, escaped injury Saturday morning when the car he was driving went out of control after it hit a patch of ice at 2118 W. Kingwood road, north of Johnsburg. DEN 4-Eloise Elliott, with assistant, Danna Shank, aided the pack in making Christmas gifts for parents and David Keir took the group to the McHenry Rescue squad for a tour and explanation of the ambulance and equipment.
