Little children wandering in my mind Laughter and tears not far behind Music ringing in my ears Staying with me through the years. Remembering a lot of little things That we used to do Walking through the pouring rain Happy to be just two. Sand and Life-you used to say So very odd at times Disappearing through one's fingers Like you disappeared from mine. Deborah Zmich FAITH I thank you, God, for this day, And the children that have come my way. All the joys and troubles too, Can't keep me from my faith in You. I can see you in the stars, the moon and the sun each day, And in the squirrels and the birds that pass my way. I thank you, God, for all I see And bless each day You give to me. Rosa L. Nichols ANNOUNCEMENT Color of Primaiy Ballots at the PRIMARY ELECTION to be held March 16, 1976 McHENRY County, Illinois The Republican Party Ballot will be CANARY The Democratic Party Ballot will be GREEN Vernon W. Kays Name COUNTY CLERK Title Behavorlal Exhibit Installed At Zo6 Brookfield zoo initiates another behavioral exhibit with the installation of a simulated Red deer in the Siberian tiger grotto. The project, to be completed in late March, is planned to give the zoo-goer a glimpse of natural feeding behavior of the Siberian tiger. The seven-foot long deer form is made of high density concrete and weighs an estimated 1,000 pounds. It was lowered into the grotto by crane. The deer will be wired so that a strong tug on its leg or rib will occasionally trigger a feeding device. A small portion of meat will then be available for the tigers. Feeding of the great cats is traditionally popular with the public. Brookfield zoo hopes this exhibit will provide the visitor with not only more opportunities to see the feeding behavior, but-more im- portantly-a feeding behavior more authentic than that exhibited by cats handed their food once a day by a keeper. Change Location Of Family Service Board Meeting The location of the Family Service and Mental Health Clinic February meeting of the board of directors has been changed from the McHenry hospital board room to the cafeteria at the hospital and is open to the public.
