We're very sorry to see her go A job well done! L.P.P.O.A. MONTHLY MEETING The monthly L.P.P.O.A. meeting was held April 1. The new board members were installed and positions on the board were filled The president is Dennis Storlie, vice-president is Lloyd Wegner, Dick Thennis is secretary and Elmer Boeldt is treasurer. One program that will be started is that there will be stickers issued for all association member's cars for a very nominal fee and a guest card will be given to each member for their guests' car. These two items are mainly for use at the beaches and boat launching area, so that we can try to keep our lake private. LITTLE LEAGUE MEETING . The first meeting of the Lakeland Park Little League baseball teams will be held April 11 at I p m at the com­ munity house Anyone wishing to still sign up may do so at this time. PARMOD NARANG The Christian Mother's club of St. Peter's church in Spring Grove held an informative program recently for members and guests. It was arranged by Eva Freund of St. Peter's church and Pat Ferrell of the American Cancer society of McHenry county. Dr. Parmod Narang of McHenry, an internist with a specialty in hematology and oncology, was guest speaker. His topic was "The Five Most Prevalent Cancer Sites". An informative question and an­ swer period followed. An excellent movie was shown by Mrs. Ferrell and life saving literature given to the group Refreshments were served by the committee of the Mother's club. The American Cancer society and their volunteers will arrange programs for any group in McHenry county, including programs geared to men's clubs. These are all given free of charge and with the knowledge that awareness and early detection save lives. Program requests may be made by calling Mrs. P. Ferrell, 385-2501, or Mrs.'Frank X.
