In a game packed with Secretary of State Michael Howlett will appear at Marian Central High School's annual Golf Playday at McHenry Country Club on Friday, July 9. Howlett, who is the Democratic candidate for Governor of Illinois and past Auditor in Illinois for twelve years, will be joined at the Playday by Bob Blackman, head football coach at the University of Illinois, Wally Chambers, all-pro defensive tackle of the Chicago Bears, and ex-Chicago Cub all-time great, Ernie Banks.
