McHenry Hospital is pleased to have been chosen to provide supervised clinical experience to student nurses (left) from Elgin Community College and McHenry County College. Paramedics of our Mobile Intensive Care program stabilize a patient's condition at the site of a heart attack under radio- transmitted orders from the Emergency Room physician. They then transport the patient to an appropriate hospital, meanwhile monitoring his EKG and reporting to the doctor. The Poison Control Center at McHenry Hospital's emergency room can determine whether the fluid which Angel (rig£t) doused on her brother is harmful, and whether a specific treatment or antidote to required. An Outreach program conducted by the Auxiliary to Teiecare, a method by which enrollees who live alone can keep in daily communication with Anxflians.
